Unit Description

Sodexo is seeking a Multi-eXPress General Manager 1 for Boston Children's Hospital located in Waltham, MA. This is a high profile, Sodexo Prestige account and pediatric hospital that has 400 beds and over 3.5 million cleanable square feet. This position will be responsible for managing the Service Response Center and Transport of the full facility. Service Response Center supports several departments including food service, housekeeping, laundry and linen.

This role directly manages the Service Response Center and will oversee 12 employees. The ideal candidate for this position will have previous supervisory or management experience in logistics, dispatch center or customer service with a high sense of urgency. Ensures delivery of excellent customer service through fast and accurate processing of orders, communication and coordinating with other departments to resolve inquires. Must communicate clearly and effectively with all internal and external customers to include the hospital’s Executive Administrative Staff. Previous call center experience a plus. Good communication skills (verbal, written and oral) and strong computer skills (keyboarding and MS Office) are a must. This is a day shift opportunity however may work other shifts, weekends or holidays due to business demands.

Position Summary

Responsible for general management of an account/unit providing two or more core services (Core Services of: Transport, Concierge or Service Response Center (SRC) Senior-most person assigned to a one client account.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree

Basic Management Experience - 5 years

Basic Functional Experience - 5 years
