Sodexo General Manager 4 - Food in SHERWOOD, Arkansas
Sodexo is seeking an experienced Food General Manager 4 for St. Vincent’s North/Rehabilitation Hospital located in Sherwood, AR. With the addition of the Arkansas Neuroscience Institute, St. Vincent North is the best destination for neuroscience care in the region. The best qaulified candidate will be a Registered Dietitian (RD), CDM (Certified Dietary Manager) or willing to get a CDM after accepting this General Manager role.
As the highly visible leader of our Food Service Team, the General Manager will manage a team of 45 front-line staff, be responsible for managing the department operations and financial responsibilities in addition to on-site patient services, retail café, and catering. Previous Sodexo experience in a hospital setting is strongly preferred.

The ideal candidate:

has a strong background in food and physical safety and sanitation compliance;
has the ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service;
will have experience with patient meal service programs
can demonstrate the ability to prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed; and
can demonstrate working knowledge of Sodexo Food Management Systems (FMS) and The Market Connection (TMC), and is proficient in computer skills and report management experience.
Directs all contract management service operations at a single account/unit. Plans and supervises special functions. Maintains cash control and payroll records. Hires and trains unit personnel. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations. Manages through managers and is accountable for the contract. Senior-most person assigned to a one client account.
Provides local leadership and strategic direction while developing team for new and emerging business solutions that sustain growth in the day to day operations.
Directs all contract services.
Oversees management/administrative team who are responsible for special functions, cash control and payroll.
