Sodexo University's segment is seeking a strong General Manager 4 for our Dining Services at University of Missouri Saint Louis in Saint Louis, MO. As our GM, you will oversee a $4 MIL MV in a P&L that serves 1000 students daily and oversees a skilled management staff of 4 who manage 60 associates. Sodexo manages dining services for 400+ resident students in a variety of resident dining venues, retail operations, and catering services.
The University of Missouri–St. Louis is public research university located outside St. Louis, Missouri, United States. Established in 1963, it is one of four universities in the University of Missouri System and its newest. UMSL's campus is located on the former grounds of the Bellerive Country Club in St. Louis County, with an address in St. Louis city. The campus stretches into the municipalities of Bellerive, Bel-Nor and Normandy. Additional facilities are located at the former site of Marillac College and at Grand Center, both in St. Louis city. We are looking for a leader who can take this well developed operation to the next level. Strong Communication skills comfortable with dealing with campus partners, strong innovation and creativity is needed for this role. This is a Union account.
Ideal candidate has Senior Level General Management experience in Campus Dining . Position develops strong relationships with key representatives at the University and delivers guest services that exceed customer expectations. Solid Food Retail, Resident Dining, and Catering experience are critical to the success of this position and measured by outcomes in financial management, employee satisfaction, client and customer surveys, Sodexo and regulatory audits, and continued partnership on Campus.

Directs all contract management service operations at a single account/unit. Plans and supervises special functions. Maintains cash control and payroll records. Hires and trains unit personnel. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations. Manages through managers and is accountable for the contract. Senior-most person assigned to a one client account.
Provides local leadership and strategic direction while developing team for new and emerging business solutions that sustain growth in the day to day operations.
Directs all contract services.
Oversees management/administrative team who are responsible for special functions, cash control and payroll.
