Unit Description

Sodexo is seeking a Retail Mgr 3 for Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, TN. This Retail Manager 3 - Food Service position will oversee day to day operation for 3 Starbuck's We Proudly Service locations within the campus of Vanderbilt Medical Center. These 3 Starbuck's locations are full service Sodexo P&L operations. The selected candidate will need to learn and/or have knowledge of Sodexo hiring process, software, policies and procedures. This position will also manage catering operations. Catering consists of 3 Client hourly staff and has annual revenues of $200K. Experience with Sodexo Catertrax software is a plus. This position manages the Simply To Go program for both Vanderbilt Adult and Children's hospitals. This position will assist the Retail Operation Manager with oversight of the Retail Cafe operation.

This position will be tasked with the organization and execution of all catering events, and will oversee innovation and manage multiple events daily and weekly. Position Summary

Responsible for food quality & customer service in an operation that may have branded concepts or other retail offerings. Directs the work of hourly and supervisory food service workers, as well as other managers.

Key Duties

  • Ensures there is a zero harm mindset for ourselves, our customers, our food & employees.

  • Directs daily operations of food quality & customer service in a retail food operation that may include branded concepts ensuring that employees have appropriate equipment, supplies and resources.

  • Manages cash handling protocols & control procedures according to Sodexo policies.

  • Maintains client satisfaction for food quality & customer service.

  • Accountable for the execution of service quality by maintaining the highest level of delivery.

  • Supervises day-to-day work activities of food service workers, supervisors & managers.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree

Basic Management Experience - 2 years

Basic Functional Experience – 1 year of work experience in concessions, retail sales, or store operations
