This is a Sodexo ROSI (Regional Operations Support) Patient Services Manager 1 for TN, GA, and AL. Candidate must reside in Central to Eastern TN or the Atlanta area.
This is a TRAVELING position where eventual relocation is likely (so, should be able to consider relocation to / with TN, GA and AL.
We have an exceptional career opportunity for a traveling Patient Service Manager 1 to support our team in the TN/GA/AL area. This is a Resource or Operations Support Position. As a Resource Manager, the selected candidate will be eligible to post to permanent Sodexo positions.
The successful candidate must be willing and able to travel as needed throughout the district and the southeastern region, be willing to live within the TN/GA/AL district and accept a position within this district when the opportunity presents itself.
The ideal candidate will have:
2 - 4 years prior experience managing a Room Service / Patient Meal Delivery process
Able to remain calm and focused in a highly demanding environment, understands and is able to meet the operating standards and expectations
Focus on customer service excellence, able identify and implement process improvement initiatives to increase patient satisfaction
Demonstrated experience providing strong leadership, including supervision, direction and training, to a diverse team of employees
Focus on food and physical safety and sanitation
Experience managing food and labor cost controls to meet targets
Experience maintaining compliance with regulatory standards, including EcoSure, Gold Check, The Joint Commission, ODH, etc.
The ideal candidate has experience working directly with patients and has a solid knowledge of nutrition in a healthcare environment. Preferred candidates will have a demonstrated ability in team leadership and managing change to support the EFY and/or AYR patient meal program.
The Patient Services Manager 1 will be responsible for the overall operation of the patient tray line to include tray assessments, quality assurance, gold checks, meal rounds, scheduling and training and development of 15-20 employees. The ideal candidate has previous experience in healthcare food service as well as knowledge and understanding of managing patient meal service.
Registered Dietitian, Certified Dietary Manager, Nutrition Degree sought.....all nutrition experience will be taken into consideration as well.
Provides direction for patient meal services at patient care units to ensure customer satisfaction and retention for the Company.
Directs daily operations of patient meal services at patient care units to ensure employees have appropriate equipment, inventory and resources to perform their jobs and meet goals and deadlines.
Supervises day-today work activities by delegating authority, assigning, scheduling, and prioritizing activities and monitoring operating standards.
Establishes operating standards, implements quality improvements and communicates them to employees.
Performs audits and prepares reports
