Sodexo is seeking a talented experienced High Volume General Manager 6 to oversee and manage the operations at Liberty University located in the beautiful background of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Lynchburg VA.

Liberty University is the largest Christian University in the US and currently has an on-campus enrollment of 15,000 students. The position will manage a Management staff of 20 Managers and Chefs, along with an hourly staff of 900 employees. Managed volume of $30 Million in Revenues, 1 Resident Dining Hall which serves 10,000 students daily, 23 Retail locations, Concessions Venues, and Catering. High profile position with daily interaction with Senior Executive Clients.

  • College/University high-volume Resident Dining & Retail food service management experience.

  • Experience managing a large management team both Front of the House and Back of the House

  • Strong financial acumen, P & L experience and managing budgets.

  • Experience managing multiple food retail outlets and national brand concepts.

  • Innovation and ability to grow revenue and manage cost.

  • Customer driven and strong track record in organizational development.

  • Superior client relations skills and executive presence.

Position Summary

Directs all contract management service operations at a single account/unit. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations. Manages through managers and is accountable for the contract. Senior-most person assigned to an account, may have multiple clients and/or satellite locations.

Provides local leadership and strategic direction while developing team for new and emerging business solutions that sustain growth in the day to day operations.
