Sodexo Operations LLC Clinical Nutrition Manager 3 in JOLIET, Illinois
Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian to come join their dynamic team at Presence Saint Joseph Medical Center and Presence Health System to work as a Resource Clinical Nutrition Manager based out of Joliet, IL.
Position will report to General Manager @ Presence Saint Joseph Medical Center and ideal candidate will:
Provides supervision of nutrition care for patients including specialty areas (e.g. pediatrics, diabetes, cardiovascular, nutrition support, renal, etc. ), including screening, assessment, physical assessment, intervention, menu planning, and discharge planning to ensure patient nutrition needs and satisfaction levels are met
Participates and provides input in QAPI projects and committees including P&T Committee, medical rounds, medical record audits and patient services audits (test trays, host/ess audits, tray accuracy, patient satisfaction) as requestedTracks clinical productivity and malnutrition documentation for work performed
Promotes food and nutrition programs according to Sodexo standards and policy
Position will be based out of Presence Saint Joseph Medical Center Position is full time with benefits and includes some weekends; travel may be required and will be reimbursed
Mileage is reimbursed to and from home base (Presence Saint Joseph Medical Center ) to other units.
Toll charges are coveredOvernight stay may be required for accounts greater than 75 miles from home base and will be reimbursed
Clinical and Management coverage will primarily be for accounts for Presence Saint Joseph Medical Center additional assignments may be scheduled that could require travel outside of the local district area as needed
Functions as the in-unit lead Clinical leader for a large account, system or multiple accounts under the same contract or multiple contracts in a defined region.
Manages the daily operations of nutrition services through direct supervision of both non-exempt employees and entry-level exempt professional employees.
-Directs daily operations of nutrition programs and ensure customer and client satisfaction levels are met.
-Establishes and executes operating standards, implements quality improvements, manages the budget and communicates them to other departments.
-Maintains and develops client relationships and client satisfaction for nutrition services.
-Promotes nutrition services and stays current with most recent nutrition-related trends, research, policy, certifications, and standards of practice.
-Manages employees to ensure they meet goals, cost controls deadlines, and collect outcomes.
-Ensures compliance with all federal, state and local regulations as well as Sodexo/client policies and procedures (e.g. Health Dept., HIPAA/Privacy Act, Joint Commission, quality assurance, safety, operations, and personnel).
-Assists in the development of new business service(s) for the client, regional or national initiatives, projects, and implements the service program(s).
Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree
Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience - 3 years work experience in health care including hospitals, nursing homes, assisted or independent living facilities, long-term care, retirement homes, or clinics + registered dietitian.
