Sodexo Corporate Services is looking for an energetic General Manager 2 to join our team at Fannie Mae Worldgate in Herndon VA!. Accountable and responsible experience Manager desired to oversee retail and catering at one of our national client site locations that works in conjunction with two other local client sites under the direction of a Resident General Manager. The current food landscape at this location consist of 1 corporate cafe with 5 stations, micro-market, and catering operations with a total MV of 1.1 million.

The General Manager 2 will manage a team of 1 salaried manager and 7 hourly employees. Duties include but not limited to: Be the lead in maintaining high safety standards, HR Administration for assigned associates (including payroll, reviews, development, etc.), executing Catered Functions and working in a team with other units to ensure effective communication and consistency of program.

For our clients, hospitality is key. This role will train and guide your team to ensure we are providing excellence in Customer Service. Creative Retailers with experience using innovation and marketing to drive sales in a static population preferred.

This position offers a traditional Business and Industry, predominantly Monday through Friday, schedule. Accrue 3 weeks of paid vacation per year (first year pro-rated based on date of hire). Medical Benefits beginning date of hire, and 401K with company match eligible.

Position Summary

Directs all contract management service operations at a single account/unit. Plans and supervises special functions. Maintains cash control and payroll records. Hires and trains unit personnel. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations. Manages through managers and is accountable for the contract. Senior-most person assigned to a one client account

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree

Basic Management Experience - 2 years

Basic Functional Experience - 2 years
