Sodexo Operations LLC Registered Dietitian 1- Part Time in GETZVILLE, New York
Sodexo Senior Living is seeking a part time Clinical Dietitian 1 for Weinberg Campus, a Senior Living Retirement Community with over 700 residents. Weinburg Campus is located in Getzville, NY; approximately 20 minutes from downtown Buffalo. This senior living campus is comprised of a 180 -bed skilled nursing/sub-acute rehab facility, two assisted living facilities, and a head start program.
Reporting to the Clinical Nutrition Manager, the ideal candidate will:
Be a Registered Dietitian with experience in long term care/sub-acute rehab.
Work 16 hours per week (flexible days & hours)
Provide nutritional care to the LTC residents and sub-acute rehab patients
Have experience with electronic charting and the NCP
Meet DOH/state/federal and company standards.
Represent the Food & Nutrition Department as the primary liaison with the medical and nursing staff. •Possess strong leadership and communication skills, both verbal and written.
Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and enjoy working with seniors to make every day a better day for our clients and residents.

Responsible for providing direct basic nutrition services
-Provides nutrition care to population served to ensure needs and customer satisfaction levels are met.
-Maintains and develops client relationships and client satisfaction to ensure account retention.
-Manages, promotes, and educates others on food and nutrition programs according to Sodexo standards and policy.
-Collaborates and communicates with culinary and clinical departments on established processes, special diets, and menu requests and probes potential problems and apprises manager of status on resolution of problems or issues, using appropriate Sodexho resource when necessary.
-Ensures compliance with all federal, state and local regulations as well as Sodexo/client policies and procedures (e.g. Health Dept., HIPAA/Privacy Act, Joint Commission, quality assurance, safety, operations, and personnel) by keep abreast of the most recent nutrition-related trends, research, policy, certifications, and standards of practice.
-Follows operating standards, implements quality improvements and communicates them to other departments..
Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree
Basic Functional Experience - Meets eligibility requirements for certification as a Registered Dietitian
