Sodexo is looking for a Senior Manager, Program Activation (Marketing and Communication) to support our Supply Management team in North America.
This position is located in Gaithersburg, MD however well qualified candidates will be considered to work remotely. The successful individual will be joining a dynamic and fast paced team that manages multiple projects often with aggressive timelines and supports both internal and external clients and stakeholders. A project management or communications background is required for this role.
The Senior Manager of Program Activation (Marketing and Communication) will be responsible for the following:
Ensuring solid processes are in place for ongoing and successful deployment of our procurement based initiatives.
Supporting key strategic procurement based initiatives preparing them for successful deployment using a variety of resources, tactics, platforms, messaging and internal support groups
Effectively developing and handing off packaged resources to various internal and external deployment teams to address each identified group of stakeholders.
Engaging with key stakeholders, internal and external, to ensure we understand their business needs and develop resources, process and platforms to enable their success via various deployment activities.
Providing guidance to internal team members helping to determine the best possible resources to address key initiatives delivering on our client, vendor and organizational business goals and objectives.
Coordinates the implementation of defined projects or a sub-set of projects within set organizational procedures and standards.
Manages critical communication to various stakeholders
Background in process management and communications
Strong verbal and written communication skills
5 years experience in a process change, communication or project management role

Reports directly to entegra Marketing Development Deployment Lead or to the Director of Program Activation for Supply Chain [shared accountability for development and measurement of performance objectives in Ingenium]
Collaborates with the Strategic Communications Committee to develop and activate an annual communications plan (updated quarterly) that support entegra’s and supply management’s value proposition and growth plan while establishing uniqueness in the procurement management services market. [The Strategic Communications committee will include representation from the Healthcare Value Analysis Team to ensure an ongoing focus on achieving various aspects of the Healthcare Transformation plan relative to the goals assigned to the team.]
Responsible for contributing to the development of supply chain information (messages, communications, data, stories) supporting the procurement business through regular collaboration with the supply chain communications team both in modifying Sodexo supply chain communications to be relevant to entegra’s various segments and through the development of original content specific to entegra’s annual communications plan.
Has accountability for contributing to year-over-year growth in the utilization of Sodexo’s contracted programs and products through regular collaboration with the entegra team.
Supports the execution of Supply Chain business initiatives for Sodexo and entegra.
Partners with the Program Activation Team to activate identified supply chain programs thru the effective use of supply chain information and data that enable the development of communications, key messages, resources, services, presentations, press releases etc.
Efforts aid in driving measurable results for Sodexo, entegra, our clients and our supplier/distributor partners.
Partner with supply managers and vendor partners to acquire the necessary level of information to produce meaningful messages and stories for identified Sodexo (Food and FM Platform) and entegra business partners.
Partner and collaborate with colleagues in Sodexo and entegra to include Supply Managers, Sustainability, FM and Food Platform, Food Safety, Sales, Operations and Marketing Teams.
Support the activation of Supply Chain Initiatives (programs/products) that deliver measurable value to the organization.
Strong working and collaborative relationship with the Food and FM platforms in Service Operations relative to procurement initiatives.
Supports all supply chain communications – used w/in supply chain and with all external audience groups (Sodexo, entegra Clients, Press Releases, etc.)
Manages communications used within entegra, within supply management, with supplier and distributor partners and with existing and potential clients
Contributes to supply chain communications to Healthcare clients and prospective clients in support of the goals of the Healthcare Transformation process.
Measurement: tied directly to the goals of entegra and supply chain – support all supply chain value initiatives as well as other business processes.
Objectives: supports critical supply chain business initiatives working collaboratively with many internal team members to deliver against the established business goals.
Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
Basic Management Experience - 5 years
Basic Functional Experience - 3 years
