Sodexo, Corporate Services is seeking for an General Manager/ Chef Manager in FT Wayne, IN. This operation offers Breakfast, Lunch, Catering and an Office Coffee Program offering to our customers. Catering is a key deliverable and expectations are at a high premium for the customers and clients we serve. The ideal candidate will need to be focused on a food program focused on local and sustainable culinary program, marketing and retail standards, physical safety while managing a high quality food program. Being detailed oriented, well organized, proven communication skills (written and oral) and possessing strong planning behaviors are critical to the success of the position. The General Manager/Chef Manager will oversee approx. 5 hourly employees and manage a volume of approx $300K.
Monday to Friday
The ideal candidate has:
a strong culinary background, with the demonstrated ability to stay current with new culinary trends;
excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to maintain the highest of standards and implements company policies;
previous experience working in a high volume, fine dining/casual catering
strong management skills.

Directs all contract management service operations at a single account/unit. Plans and supervises special functions. Maintains cash control and payroll records. Hires and trains unit personnel. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations. Manages through managers and is accountable for the contract. Senior-most person assigned to a one client account

Directs daily food operations for quality & safety standards

Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree
Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience - 2 years
