Sodexo is seeking a General Manager 4 - Food for a dynamic health care facility, Blanchard Valley located in Findlay, OH where we have partnered together for 30 plus years. This position will have direct oversight for the 150 bed acute care hospital where we currently operate our patient food program with AYR (At Your Request) and our cafeteria with fresh inspirations with $1 million in annual sales, and coffee shop. The successful candidate will have strong operational skills as to support the department infrastructure.

The department infrastructure is made up of 40 non-union client employees, Operation Manager, and a Clinical Nutrition Manager.

The candidate will be accountable for all aspects related to Food and Nutrition with responsibilities for oversight and involvement of unit financials, HR functions, Cash Management & Controls, Training, Payroll, Scheduling, and overall supervision of the FNS department. The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills with 3-4 years of lead food management experience, a solid financial acumen, and excellent written and oral communications with a focus on customer service. The ability to lead and develop both hourly and management teams will be the key to your success in this role.

Position Summary

Directs all contract management service operations at a single account/unit. Plans and supervises special functions. Maintains cash control and payroll records. Hires and trains unit personnel. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations. Manages through managers and is accountable for the contract. Senior-most person assigned to a one client account.

Provides local leadership and strategic direction while developing team for new and emerging business solutions that sustain growth in the day to day operations.

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree
