Unit Description

Sodexo is seeking a General Manager 4 of Food & Nutrition Services for Elyria Memorial Hospital Regional Medical Center in Elyria, Ohio.

This position will manager over 3 million in volume (1 million in Retail) and 45 plus employees.

The GM 4 - Food position is responsible for the management and oversight of the patient dining program, catering, & the cafeteria retail services for employees and visitors. Successful candidate must have comprehensive understanding of regulatory standards for food/nutrition department; analytical skills to drive high levels of patient satisfaction, skilled in employee engagement & training; retail & innovative skills to increase sales and customer satisfaction with the Hospital cafeteria dining services. Qualified candidates must have proven skills in leadership, customer service, food & nutrition quality indicators, food safety, policy administration, budgeting, & finance.

EMH Regional Medical Center is a 320 bed Hospital located 25 miles west of downtown Cleveland & the premier healthcare provider for Lorain County & Western Cuyahoga County. EMH offers an extensive number of clinical services, general medical, surgery, emergency services & a nationally recognized cardiovascular program.

Position Summary

Directs all contract management service operations at a single account/unit. Plans and supervises special functions. Maintains cash control and payroll records. Hires and trains unit personnel. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations. Manages through managers and is accountable for the contract. Senior-most person assigned to a one client account.

Provides local leadership and strategic direction while developing team for new and emerging business solutions that sustain growth in the day to day operations.

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree

Basic Management Experience - 5 years
