Unit Description

Sodexo is seeking a Director of Clinical Nutrition Service to come lead their dynamic clinical team at MUSC in Charleston, SC. This Director will oversee the clinical program.

Reporting to the District Manager, the selected candidate will:

  • Be a Registered Dietitian with at least 5 years of leadership experience.

  • Master's Degree Required

  • Serve in a clinical and operational, leadership role on Food and Nutrition Services team.

  • Supervise the team of 35 Registered Dietitians, and Clinical Nutrition Managers and assist with the management of the AYR program.

  • Monitor and evaluate nutrition care services; accreditation and regulatory readiness and review; and establishing and maintaining standards of care.

  • Be able to maintain a highly visible role, interact with clients, and represent the department on hospital-wide medical staff, nursing and interdisciplinary committees.

  • Work as part of the clinical team and play an integral role with a mission to exceed client satisfaction through the application of Sodexo programs.

  • Lead and drive Performance Improvement, Regulatory Compliance, and Quality Management projects.

  • Be self-directed, flexible, and a team player and have excellent leadership, time management, verbal, and written communication skills.

Position Summary

Provides direction, development, business strategy, and deployment of innovative nutrition and wellness programs. Provides direct operational support in alignment with Senior Manager, Area Support (Clinical.) Serves as a subject matter expert for the Division relating to standards and practices for nutrition and customer services for strategic business.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor’sDegree

Basic Management Experience - 5 years

Basic Functional Experience – 5 years in clinical nutrition, + registered dietitian.
