Sodexo is seeking a District Manager School Segment to oversee the Food contract operations only with Sodexo School Services division in Texas . This position will focus on improving the Quality of Life (QOL) for students, customers, clients, employees and communities we serve through providing excellence in leadership of daily service delivery. Sodexo’s Quality of Life mission is meant to improve the environment and conditions where Sodexo has influence to contribute to improvements that impact people. The successful candidate will oversee K-12 accounts with a managed volume of 38million. Child Nutrition Experience Highly Desired for this role.

The District Manager position must reside in Texas preferably in the North central region to include Dallas or Austin. The successful candidate will focus on growing influence over Quality of Life and business outcomes in the geography as well as contributions to Sodexo’s long term success. Growth is defined as increased business opportunities in number and type of business partnerships in that territory. The successful candidate will display an ability to drive Sodexo’s market presence and reputation as a QOL leader. Additionally, the candidate must be self-motivated and self-directed as the position will require travel to be prescribed by the individual.

Position Summary

Serves as the primary representative of Sodexo for multiple accounts in a designated geographic area. Responsible for successfully coordinating and directing all activities within the assigned geographic area through subordinate managers, supervisors and employees including financial performance, client retention, and employee training and development. Works with each client and the Vice President in all matters relating to contract and account operations in order to establish and maintain a solid and mutually beneficial business relationship that ensures account retention. Develops a business plan and budget for the accounts with the General Manager's.
