Unit Description

Sodexo Corporate Services is looking for an Executive Chef 1 to lead our culinary team in Atlanta, GA. ASOS is a leader in the fashion design and direct sales industry. Their innovative facility will serve over 500 executives, mid-management and floor workers just outside of Atlanta, GA in this newly built cafeteria and flex dining space.

Duties include:

  • Lead the daily food production including menu planning and quality controls

  • Hands on cooking

  • Coaching, training and development of the culinary team

  • Ensuring Sodexo Culinary Standards including recipe compliance and food quality

  • Labor and food cost control

This client does have weekend/overnight shift work processing of returns and ship outs that will require the cafe to serve breakfast, lunch & overnight. A flexible schedule is required for this opportunity.

Position Summary

Provides culinary leadership within a small sized unit including menu planning, program execution and staff management & training. Works directly with internal and external clients managing the catering process from beginning through execution

Key Duties

-Executes the culinary function

-Customer & Client satisfaction

-Manages food & physical safety program.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree

Basic Management Experience - 2 years

Basic Functional Experience – 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
