Unit Description

Sodexo Corporate Services North America has an exciting opportunity for an Executive Chef supporting business dining accounts in the Northern VA/DC metro area.

The Ideal Candidate will have :

  • Culinary experience with both volume and high quality food production focus

  • Ability to work on a team who share same level commitment and passion to quality food presentation, customer service, professionalism

  • Ability to multi-task and delegate to coordinate multiple priorities

  • Menu development and costing skills, cafe cycle menus preferred

  • Computer ordering, inventory experience, spreadsheets, etc.

These corporate locations offer a primary schedule of Monday- Friday 6am- 4pm. This resource role will train in large and small corporate accounts before filling in for chef vacations, new account openings or other types of culinary vacancies at local area accounts. The role provides an excellent opportunity to prepare yourself for subsequent Executive Chef roles in Sodexo.

Position Summary

Provides culinary leadership within a small sized unit including menu planning, program execution and staff management & training. Works directly with internal and external clients managing the catering process from beginning through execution

Key Duties

-Customer & Client satisfaction

-Manages food & physical safety program.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree

Basic Management Experience - 2 years

Basic Functional Experience – 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
