Job #74980 - Sodexo is seeking a General Manager (III) / Dining Director for The Seasons at Alexandria in Alexandria, KY . This is a 165 Resident Retirement Community with assisted living, skilled and memory care, located in Northern Kentucky, 20 miles from Cincinnati, Ohio .

In this role; you manage the daily operations of the kitchen and dining venues, 20 employees, financial budgets, food production, catering, Sodexo systems & standards, food and labor costs controls, inventory & on-line ordering, the HACCP process, customer service programs and enhancements. This is a hands-on position with a strong focus on hospitality as you move from back of the house to front of the house with the addition of administrative and financial duties. This is a client facing position and the client is very involved in the day to day operation of the whole facility. Being able to communicate with people at all different levels is a critical success factor for this position.

Your Skills Checklist for this position:

Some College / Trade School, Servsafe Certificate

Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) / enrolled in program

Culinary background is ideal for hands on catering

Long Term Care & Contract Mgmt Experience

HR skills; hire, schedule, train & develop 20 employees

Working knowledge of HACCP for regulatory compliance

Financial skills for 2 million in P&L annual volume

Computer skills; financial, food & labor Mgmt systems

Basic food production and menu planning experience

Inventory, on-line ordering, invoice reconciliation

Experience with Sodexo Systems and Standards is ideal

Schedule will vary based on client needs with some weekends / holidays

Position Summary

Directs all contract management service operations at a single account/unit. Plans and supervises special functions. Maintains cash control and payroll records. Hires and trains unit personnel. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations. Manages through managers and is accountable for the contract. Senior-most person assigned to a one client account

Provides local leadership and strategic direction while developing team for new and emerging business solutions that sustain growth in the day to day operations.
