Unit Description:
SAP ERP Functional Support team:
Duties/Responsibilities:
* Organize and lead multiple SAP ERP related projects; such as those;
* Requests to integrate with the existing Sodexo USA/CAN platform
* Requests to alter/add to the Sodexo USA/CAN platform’s hierarchy, company code, entity structures (FI_SPL_CO modules)
* Coordinate the definition and analysis of requirements, project scope, detail project specifications, define testing strategy and insure required support is compiled for the promote to production protocol
* Define and address documented gaps as per analysis of current business processes and SAP functionalities
* Present recommendations and implement improvements based on business requirements and project deliverables
* Pursue agreed upon solutions that are based on best business practices and technical feasibility
* As necessary, pursue the planning and implementation of new policies and procedures as dictated by the project deliverables
* Assess the impact of SAP ERP functionality, master or transactional data, and structural changes on fiscal close processes & timing
* Facilitate the development and documentation of SAP ERP functionality; to include, but not limited to, master data and transactional data, to support the necessity of communicating to all affected areas; business and IST
* As necessary, research, implement and support new SAP functionality and, as applicable, non-SAP third party applications as they relate to the overall SAP business solution

* Follow policies, standards and methodologies for project management to ensure quick and cost efficient delivery of SAP ERP project related deliverables
* Insure the integration of all SAP ERP project related deliverables across all relevant IST areas of discipline; to include, but not limited to, the UFS->SAP->EDW financial suite, as well as the support teams of Operations & Infrastructure and/or Help Desk/Deployment areas.
* Regularly monitor progress, issues and risks associated with system and application enhancements
* Establish routine status communications with IST senior management to address progress, roadblocks and deliverables
* Adhere to established inter-company Service Level Agreements associated with SAP-related efforts?
Minimum Education/Experience Required:
* BS or BA in Information Systems, Computer Science, or Business Administration/Finance preferred
* 2-3 years of related experience
* Experience planning, implementing and aligning business requirements with an ERP solution preferred
* Understanding of Sodexo NA business processes desired
Minimum Training/Knowledge/Skills Required:
* Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and activities
* Knowledgeable in SAP capabilities (SAP R/3, v4.6c -required, SAP ECC- STRONGLY preferred)
* Strong communication skills; verbal, written and listening
* Knowledge of Systems Development Life Cycle and Project Management Methodologies
* Must work independently and in a team atmosphere
* Must be able to work under pressure
* Must be detail oriented
* Must be responsible for operational support of SAP systems to ensure 24hrs/day, 7 days/wk coverage
Must be able to travel if needed
Position Summary:
Oversees various systems projects of a highly complex nature. Responsible for assembling project team, assigning individual responsibilities, identifying appropriate resources needed, and developing schedule to ensure timely completion of project. Must be familiar with the system's scope and project's objectives, as well as the role and function of each team member to effectively coordinate the activities of the team.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's degree
Basic Functional Experience - 2 years of experience in managing projects
