We are currently recruiting for the following positions available at Saint Anthony North: Part Time Cooks May have to work Nights, Weekends and Holidays Follows recipes and /or product directions for preparing, seasoning, cooking, tasting, carving and serving soups, meats, vegetables, desserts and other foodstuffs for consumption in eating establishments. Prepares food by operating a variety of kitchen equipment to measure and mix ingredients, washing, peeling, cutting and shredding fruits and vegetables, and trimming and cutting meat, poultry or fish for culinary use. Reads menus, estimates food requirements, check production, and keep records. Must have strong knowledge in HACCP requirements. Must clean and sanitize work stations and equipment. Must be able to read, write and speak English. Must have 1 year experience. Specific physical characteristics and abilities are required to perform the work, such as agility, dexterity, and long periods of walking, standing, bending, carrying or lifting supplies and equipment weighing 50 pounds or more. Wears protective clothing. Must be able to push/pull 30 – 50 pounds Part Time Housekeepers May have to work Nights, Weekends and Holidays Maintains premises in a clean and orderly manner. Cleans offices, patients’/residents’ rooms, common areas, lavatories, halls, food service areas and any other areas that may require attention. Cleans light fixtures, ceilings and vents, walls, mattresses, furniture, windows and window coverings, floors and carpets. Cleans by dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and sweeping. Replenishes supplies. Moves furniture, hang draperies, and sets-up tables and chairs. May change sheets and replenish linens. Must be able to read, write and speak English. Specific physical characteristics and abilities are required to perform the work, such as agility, dexterity, and long periods of walking, standing, bending, carrying or lifting supplies and equipment weighing 50 pounds or more. Wears protective clothing. Must be able to push/pull 30 – 50 pounds. Part Time and Full Time Tray Passers Delivers and picks up food trays for patients. Cleans and sanitizes workstations, counters, steam tables and other equipment. Brews coffee and tea. Interacts with customers/patients when delivering trays. Verifies patient identity. Assists customers with opening containers and cutting food. Must be able to read, write and speak English. Specific physical characteristics and abilities are required to perform the work, such as agility, dexterity, and long periods of walking, standing, bending, carrying or lifting supplies and equipment weighing 50 pounds or more. Wears protective clothing. Must be able to push/pull 30 – 50 pounds. Part Time Utility Sets up stations with breads, condiments and utensils. Serves and replenishes food from counters and steam tables (sometimes using a conveyor food belt), and breaks down stations at the end of meal periods. Cleans and sanitizes workstations, counters, steam tables and other equipment. Brews coffee and tea. Interacts with customers/patients when delivering trays. Assists customers with opening containers and cutting food. Washes dishes by hand or places them in a dishwashing machine. Washes work tables, walls, refrigerators and meat blocks. Sweeps, mops, cleans and vacuums floors. Remove trash and garbage to designated areas. Transfers supplies and equipment within and between storage and work areas such as pantry and dish room. Cleans equipment using specific chemicals to insure sanitary standards. Polishes silver. May wash pots. Must be able to read, write and speak English.
