Sodexo is seeking a District Manager 2 - Facilities for Education Division in Texas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana area.

District Manager 2 to oversee Facilities operations for the client portfolio of up to 10 Universities / Education accounts . The DM position may reside in TX, OK, or LA.

This senior level, permanent position has daily responsibility for $15 Million in managed volume (4) locations. Your mission is to support managers and the client to provide excellent services for the Universities business. Strong leadership skills are a MUST! You will analyze and forecast financial results and make decisions based on data and needs. Build and maintain strong teams through recruitment and retention. Build and maintain strong client relationships to promote the Clients for Life philosophy. Lead and inspire your team to continually improve Sodexo's performance for our clients and customers. Develop and innovate to promote improved performance within the education unit.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A proven track record of successful Facilities Management leadership experience as demonstrated by articulated results and accomplishments

  • Strong technical knowledge of the following: mechanical, maintenance, construction, project management and energy management

  • Strong strategic leadership, financial acumen and talent management

  • Demonstrated ability to meet multiple deadlines and manage the workload accordingly.

  • Strong contract and account operations in order to establish and maintain a solid and mutually beneficial business relationship

  • A proven track record ensuring account growth and account retention

Position Summary

Serves as the primary representative of Sodexo for multiple accounts in a designated geographic area. Responsible for successfully coordinating and directing all activities within the assigned geographic area through subordinate managers, supervisors and employees including financial performance, client retention, and employee training and development. Works with each client and the Vice President in all matters relating to contract and account operations in order to establish and maintain a solid and mutually beneficial business relationship that ensures account retention. Develops a business plan and budget for the accounts with the General Manager's.
