Sodexo is seeking a Retail Operations Manager for Stamford Hospital located in Stamford, CT.

In this role you will have direct oversight of a main cafeteria, a satellite cafe and franchise quick service restaurant. Responsible for all catering operations. Total managed volume of $2 million. The Retail Operations Manager will report to the General Manger. Two unit managers will report directly to the Retail Operations Manager. Services are provided to a high level client with high expectations. The ideal candidate will have proven track record of increasing all retail performance metrics such as participation, revenue, check average and satisfaction. A proficiency with Kronos payroll systems, Micros POS and basic level graphic design are preferred. A passion for customer focused service and continual program improvement are essential to the success of the position.

Position Summary

Directs all retail operations at a large single or multi site account/unit. Drives revenue, profitability and quality of retail business while enhancing and ensuring standards are met at all times. Plays a key role in the implementation and evaluation of product/service offerings, brands and/or in-house signature and national brands Maintains cash control and payroll records. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations. Senior-most person assigned to client account reporting to District Manager (DM) or Resident District Manager (RDM).

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree

Basic Functional Experience - 2 years of experience in retail operations
