Sodexo Universities is seeking a Conference Services Manager at Armstrong State University in beautiful historic, Savannah, GA! T he Conference Services Manager will plan, coordinate and execute assigned meeting and event groups, while maximizing Guest satisfaction. Responsibilities include:
Successfully coordinating details of assigned bookings
Obtaining meeting details from Clients (potentially; space reservation, set-up, audiovisual requirements, food and beverage, etc.) as appropriate. Communicating effectively both verbally and in writing as it relates to the event specifications/logistics. Responsible for timely distribution of event orders as appropriate.
Provide timely responses to acknowledge requests; confirm reservations; and outline services within the time line parameters established for the client
Ensure the execution of meetings and events matches the schedule and event order specifications and meets/exceeds customer expectations
Partners with Sodexo Catering Dept to ensure guest orders are delivered on time

Overall day-to-day responsibility for provision of food services within a conference center. Also coordinates scheduling and set-up of conference rooms. Serves as liaison to catering managers.
Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree
Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience - 4 years
