Sodexo is looking for an energetic Environmental Services Senior Area General Manager for for a potential new sale to an acute care hospital with off-site clinics in the San Jose & San Francisco Metro Areas - Relocation Assistance is Available! This position will lead the Day-to-Day operations of the Environmental Services department by directing all housekeeping & Linen operations, and Supervise all cleaning personnel. Will also be responsible for maintaining payroll records, and schedules. Hires and trains unit personnel. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations. Must have prior contractor experience with proven track record in health care ES managing multiple accounts within a region.

Prior high level ES GM required
Bilingual is a plus but not required
Must have prior contractor experience with proven track record in health care ES.
The “Hands-On” manager primarily handles day to day operational functions and ensures unit level, corporate, employee relations, safety, training, and unit operating systems compliance. Managing in a strong union environment is a plus but not a requirement.
Required: Good working knowledge of state & federal employment law; solid computer skills using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; good communication and presentation skills; detailed oriented, and well organized.
High energy for fast paced environment. Client engagement and patient satisfaction is essential for the success of this role. This position is Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m may include some weekends and holidays.

Top in-unit leadership position for a system of accounts. Single point of contact for client liaison to drive and support the expectations of Sodexo Divisions while supporting our mission and values. This position would support system/multi-site business that in total is greater than $10 million in managed volume (mega accounts) with one or more core services, ES, Eng, Food. The position would support the selling strategy of targeting large system sales.
Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree
Basic Management Experience - 4 years
Basic Functional Experience - 4 years work experience in facilities (e.g., maintenance, plant operations, engineering services, grounds, custodial/environmental, or transportation) or food (e.g., food services or operations, concessions, retail sales, store operations, or vending) services
