Unit Description

Sodexo is seeking a Food Operations Manager at Methodist Stone Oak Hospital. Methodist Stone Oak Hospital is a 150 bed acute care hospital located in San Antonio, TX.

This position directs staff in patient food preparation, proper presentation and customer service excellence. You will also manage retail area that provides excellent customer service and products. Great client relations necessary to succeed at this location.

The ideal candidate has previous experience in hospitals managing Sodexo programs.

We manage patient services with an AYR room service program, retail cafe, doctor's dining and a micro market.

Position Summary

Assumes General Manager's (GM) responsibilities and authority in his/her absence in complex multi-functional accounts. Maintains cash control and payroll records. Responsible for financial/Human Resources (HR) functions. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations. Manages through managers.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree

Basic Management Experience - 2 years

Basic Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
