Sodexo is seeking a Environmental Services Custodial Operations Manager 3 for UC Davis Medical Center one of the nation's top teaching Hospital's in Sacramento, CA ! UC Davis is a 619 bed facility that operates the only level 1 trauma centers for both adult and pediatric emergencies in inland Northern California. UC Davis is a recognized leader in defining innovative uses for technology to transform health and health care, UC Davis provides expertise in more than two dozen clinical specialties using telehealth technology to reach patients and health-care providers throughout the state. Relocation assistance is not offered at this time. The ability to speak Spanish will assist in managing this workforce. This is a third shift with some evenings - weekends and holidays may be required.

The ideal candidate for this position will be able to demonstrate in-depth technical knowledge of Environmental Services operations in the Health-care / Hospital industry as an Operations Manager, Sodexo programs and systems (TRAKKAR, UOS, Gold Checks, etc) as well as customer and employee relationship skills. The ability to drive change, the ability to motivate/ develop staff and focus on customer service in a union environment. Strong project management, analytical, communications and computer (Excel, Word and Power-Point) skills are needed for this role in conjunction with a comprehensive understanding of Sodexo’s corporate and CARES cultures.

Position Summary

Provides supervision for custodial services at account/unit to ensure client satisfaction and retention for the Company. Implements business practices in order to uphold Company mission and values. Contributes to account revenue and operating profit contribution through the implementation of services and creation of opportunities for growth.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED

Basic Management Experience - 3 years

Basic Functional Experience - 3 years of work experience in Housekeeping, Environmental or Custodial Services
