Unit Description

Sodexo is seeking a FoodOperations Manager 2 for UH Regional Hospitals Bedford and Richmond Campuses. Position will office out of the Richmond location, acute care facility. Position will be responsible for employee scheduling, performance evaluations and will oversee 40 plus employees. Position will be responsible for all aspects of food service including patient services, catering, production and retail. Candidate should have strong Culinary background.

Richmond is a 60 bed acute care and 40 bed Behavorial Health Facility. Bedford is 50 beds. Sodexo is running the Expressly For You Room Service meal delivery program.

Position Summary

Manages all contract management service operations at a single account/unit. Plans and directly supervises special functions. Maintains cash control and payroll records. Hires and trains unit personnel. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations. Assumes General Manager’s (GM) responsibilities and authority in his/her absence.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree

Basic Management Experience - 2 years

Basic Functional Experience - 4 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
