Are you a Seasoned General Manager for a high volume University Food Operation who thrives being a partner with the client through tremendous growth ?

Sodexo has an exciting opportunity for a senior level Food Service General Manager ( GM 6 ) to oversee all food operations and client relationships at Grand Canyon University – a faith based college in Phoenix, AZ which is one of the fastest growing colleges in the United States. This $20M university account is an all RETAIL Program that includes an ever-growing Retail Dining with over 22 Food venues (National and In house brands); a Concessions program for soccer, arenas, baseball and softball; and an active, progressive and upscale Catering business. This GM will partner with our clients who are very progressive and growth minded to help them meet their continued growth projections – expanding our Food Service operations to $25M in the next several years. There are 7 salaried managers and over 300 full time, part time and student employees.

Our selected candidate will be a visionary and innovative leader with the ability to successfully lead through change. Demonstrated high volume Retail Dining expertise , exceptional organization skills, polished communication skills, stellar Client Relationship skills, strong negotiating and business acumen, and the ability to handle a high degree of stress in a dynamic environment will be required.

Position Summary

Directs all contract management service operations at a single account/unit. Plans and supervises special functions. Maintains cash control and payroll records. Hires and trains unit personnel. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations. Manages through managers and is accountable for the contract. Senior-most person assigned to a one client account.

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree

Basic Management Experience - 4 years

Basic Functional Experience - 4 years
