Unit Description:
Sodexo is in search of a Sales Executive – responsible for supporting the Education Facilities Sales process in the Southeast including Alabama, Florida and Georgia. The Sales Executive for Education Facilities Management is responsible for the development of new and potential accounts within the assigned geographic area, developing and implementing short and long range sales strategies, achieving targeted new sales goals by orchestrating the sales process including prospect identification, execution, proposal development, proposal delivery and contract negotiation. To be a successful sales executive you will need knowledge of contract management and computer software, strong interpersonal and communication skills and C-level sales acumen. The position requires a bachelor’s degree and/or 5-7 years of successful sales experience, preferably in the Engineering Sales, Energy Sales, Performance Contracting Sales or Facility Solutions Sales field. Engineering and Education background a plus. Candidate must live close to a major airport and reside within the defined sales territory noted above.
Position Summary:
Responsible for the development of new and potential accounts within the assigned geographic area. Develops and implements short- and long-range sales strategies. Develops, implements and achieves targeted new sales goals by orchestration of the sales process including prospect identification, prospect qualification, organization survey and execution, proposal development, proposal delivery and contract negotiation.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree
Basic Functional Experience - At least 2 years sales or industry-related work experience
Sodexo will require a background check and may require a drug screen for this position.
