Sodexo is seeking a dynamic Custodial Manager 2 at Nebraska Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska. Nebraska Medicine is a world class acute care facility associated with the University of Nebraska Medical Center and the five colleges on campus here in Omaha. This position oversees a team of cleaners and floor care professionals who maintain the hospital, clinic, and college facilities on campus. We are seeking someone with health care experience, hospitality leadership experience, and or similar successful work history leading teams of people to improve quality, customer services, and employee/patient engagement. The incumbent is expected to perform Sodexo systems and operations within company policy and engage our customers with responsiveness at all times.

The preferred candidate for this position will have solid knowledge of Sodexo ES Systems and processes including TRAKKAR, UOS, Gold Check, ENGAGE and Black Light inspections. High energy for a fast paced environment. Client engagement and patient satisfaction is essential for the success of this role. The is evening shift opportunity and the Custodial/Housekeeping Manager will be required to participate in a rotational "on call" schedule involving rotating weekends and holidays.

Position Summary

Supervises hourly staff providing custodial service to client. Responsible for work force planning, Quality Assurance training and administrative functions for designated area. Typically reports to General Manager or Operations Manager.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED

Basic Management Experience - 1 year
