Sodexo Operations LLC Catering Manager 4 in NEW ORLEANS, Louisiana
Sodexo is seeking an experienced Catering Manager 4 for our Universities segment account in New Orleans, LA. The Catering Director manages 1834 faculty dining room, multiple events during the course of the year all over campus with all divisions of the university. Strong proven client interaction skills a must. Managing multi events at the same time is key, delegation and leadership with team, leading by example are just a few of the traits required to this job. High end events for 5 to a thousand covers. Currently doing 2 million in revenue, 8% year over year growth target is the goal. Generate new revenue streams on campus as well as off. Pro-actively engage Client to build relationship and business growth. Must be extremely polished, proven leader of staff and department.
Provides supervision for catering services at an account/unit to ensure client satisfaction and retention for the Company. Implements business practices order to uphold Company mission and values. Contributes to account revenue and operating profit contribution through the implementation of services and creation of opportunities for growth. Plans projects, including defining objectives, methods, timetables and budget to support client and Sodexo's strategic plan. Provides creativity and innovation to develop services and offerings that consistently evolve to drive customer and client satisfaction. Effectively engages with client partners at the highest level of the client organization to drive client confidence and loyalty.
Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree.
Basic Management Experience -1 Year
Basic Functional Experience -3 years of experience in catering, food production, or food service management or a related field.
