Sodexo is seeking an experienced Catering Manager for our University account in New Orleans, LA. Loyola University New Orleans is a private , co-educational , and Jesuit university located in New Orleans , Louisiana . Originally established as Loyola College in 1904, the institution was chartered as a university in 1912. Sodexo has been partners with Loyola for over 25 years. This position is driven by client relations and exceptional catering talent. Total sales volume for the account is over 8 million in sales. Catering Sales volume is slightly under 1 million.

Position Summary

Manages all catered events. Hires, schedules, and trains catering staff. Works with clients/customers to arrange and follow through on all catering details and to ensure all special requests are met. Directs setup for events. Responsible for pricing, billing and resolving customer complaints. Develops menu/costing.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED

Basic Management Experience - 2 years

Basic Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
