Unit Description

Sodexo is seeking a skilled Operations Manager to oversee & manage food service at a high level account. The Operations Manager would oversee 4 locations in which two are WPB Starbucks Cafe's. The candidate would have one Executive Chef reporting to them as well as a team of approximately 20-25 hourly associates. This person would assume GM responsibilities in his or her absence. The ideal candidate will be a proven manager who demonstrates excellence in managing a team, leading safe & clean food/beverage operations, balancing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.

  • have oversight of day-to-day operations;

  • deliver high quality food service;

  • achieve company and client financial targets and goals;

  • develop and maintain client and customer relationships;

  • develop strategic plans;

The ideal candidate:

  • has high financial acumen

  • has a work history demonstrating strong leadership skills, as well as previous supervisory experience and the ability to work collaboratively;

  • has culinary production experience and a strong background and passion for food, safety and sanitation compliance;

  • has the ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service;

  • can demonstrate the ability to prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed; and

  • can demonstrate working knowledge of Sodexo Food Management Systems (FMS) and Market Connections (MSC), and is proficient in computer skills and report management experience.

Position Summary

Assumes General Manager's (GM) responsibilities and authority in his/her absence in complex multi-functional accounts. Maintains cash control and payroll records. Responsible for financial/Human Resources (HR) functions. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations. Manages through managers.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree

Basic Management Experience - 2 years

Basic Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
