We have an exciting career opportunity for a Retail Manager at Jewish Hospital in Louisville, KY. Sodexo provides food and nutrition services for patient dining, retail café operations, onsite catering and physicians dining. Our Retail Manager will be responsible for managing the day to day operations for the retail café and onsite coffee kiosk. Our manager will also be the retail champion for the Kentucky One Louisville Hospitals and HALO POS administrator. Responsibilities include:
Managing Sodexo retail food programs and practices
Ensuring compliance with HACCP and menu systems
Cash management and cash controls
Qualifications for the Food Operations Manager include prior food service supervisory experience in a healthcare environment, computer literacy, full HACCP knowledge and ServSafe certification. Maintains food quality and customer service in a cash handling retail food operation that includes branded concepts, in-house formats and signature designs. May assume General Manager's (GM) responsibilities and authority in his/her absence. Assists in maintenance of cash control and payroll records. Assists in supporting the financial/Human Resources (HR) functions. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations.
Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED
Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience - 2 years of work experience in concessions, retail sales, or store operations.
