**Olivet Nazarene University** Executive Chef needed on campus at Olivent Nazarene. This is a high-volume unit 35 miles south of Chicago that consist of a $3.5M residential dining operation with $1M in high-end catering and multiple retail food outlets. This account also serves as the summer home to the Chicago Bears training facility. The Executive Chef will have hands-on responsibility for all aspects of food and catering production, menu planning, costing, ordering, inventory and training. The best qualified candidate will have the following: A culinary degree - college/university culinary and culinary management experience - experience with on-line ordering - experience with food management systems - experience training and leading a culinary staff - experience with catering food production and presentation - computer skills - experience with food safety and sanitation -- strong leadership skills.

Unit Description:

This is a Sodexo ES Manager 2 position at LUMC. Sodexo is seeking an Environmental Services (Housekeeping) Manager for a 545 Bed, 2.2 million square foot Academic Medical Center at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, IL. The ideal candidate for this position will have leadership experience within health care environmental services as well as strong client/patient/employee relationship-building skills. This is a first shift position. Sodexo is seeking bi-lingual candidates; the ability to communicate in Spanish and / or Polish will assist in managing the workforce (this is a preferred qualification, but not required). This position will be responsible for managing approximately 15 -35 employees that are both Union, Company paid AND Hospital paid hourly ES employees. 

Previous, solid work experience preferred. This position will be expected to some work weekends, holidays and in times of business need. Candidate’s ability to manage more than 25 direct reports in remote locations, handle multiple priorities and assume management for departmental initiatives is essential. Candidate’s ability to quickly grasp situations and logically progress through solutions a must. High customer / clinical orientation. Ability to refine systems, to ensure sustained effort of achieving standards. Must be incessant with follow through and visibility within the hospital. The EVS Management TO is comprised of 1 EVS GM, 2 ES Operations Managers, 5 AM Shift managers, and 5 PM Shift Managers, plus Managers for HR, Training and Accounting and Administration. 
Position Summary:
Number two position at the account with responsibility for all operations. Assumes GM's responsibilities and authority in his/her absence. Supervises managers. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations.

In this position, the candidate will

Proofreading skills are required. 

Background in proposal management, experience writing sales proposals and participation in sales processes is required - experience with processes over $10M is highly preferred. Candidates are expected to be proactive and take a lead role during the RFP process (i.e. coordinate between departments, project management, etc.) Experience in working with a wide range of internal and external clients, at all levels of the organization, and cross divisionally is necessary. Specific duties include:

Unit Description:

Sodexo is seeking a Clinical Nutrition Manager for the Food and Nutritional Services department at St. Mary's Hospital in Decatur, IL. This is a 215 bed facility with an average census of 150. Ideal candidate for this position be a registered dietitian with at least 3 years of experience (at least 1-2 years lead or management experience) in a health-care setting and have experience managing large projects.
* The successful applicant will cover inpatient clinical services, outpatient nutrition education and patient food services.
* This position will be responsible for supervision of approximately 20 employees (4.2 FTE Registered Dietitian, Diet Office and Patient Services personnel) along with training and quality assurance in a complex health-care setting.
* The ideal candidate will have a strong management in acute care nutrition services, with a strong comprehension of the principles of clinical nutrition practice.
* Candidate will have demonstrated skills in managing and developing clinical staff; monitoring and evaluation of nutrition care services; development of policy and procedures in a complex organization; accreditation and regulatory readiness and review; and establishing and maintaining standards of care. 
* Candidates will need to have excellent communication and customer service skills, have a track record of proactive interaction with the medical team, be an outstanding team player, and have strong demonstrated leadership skills.

Qualifications &amp; Requirements:
Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree Basic Management Experience - 1 year
Basic Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in health care including hospitals, nursing homes, assisted or independent living facilities, long-term care, retirement homes, or clinics + registered dietitian.

Sodexo is seeking for a Chef Managerfor a continuing care retirement community in Lemont, IL. The Chef Manager at this location will be responsible in managing the daily operations of the kitchen, food production, quality assurance, receiving, ordering, and coordinating of the food production employees, active role in finance / cost control / food production, responsible for the supervision of kitchen personnel employees, and provide training to cooks / production staff. Reporting to the General Manager, the ideal candidate for this position will have previous experience in managing a kitchen staff, training and developing cooks / production staff, and related experience in culinary services / Food Production / Cost &amp; Labor control. Experience in retirement community / health care and demo / exhibition cooking experience is preferred. CDM/Certified Dietary Management certification preferred, but not required.



Position Summary:
Supervises cooks and oversees the preparation, portioning, garnishing, and storage of food. Estimates food consumption and purchases food. May assist in cooking and preparing food as necessary. Responsible for maintaining kitchen and storage facilities in sanitary condition. Responsible for cash management. Interacts with client/customers on a regular basis. This position is the leader for an account/unit chef/production group. This position is in smaller accounts/units where there is not a Chef or Food Production Manager. Reports to GM.

Basic Education Requirement - Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree
Basic Management Experience - 1 year
Basic Functional Experience - 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
