Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian to come join their dynamic team at CHI Baylor St Luke's Medical Center licensed for 600 beds and is located in Houston,TX.

Position will report to Clinical Nutrition Manager and ideal candidate will:

  • Be a Registered Dietitian with at least 2 years experience in an acute care facility

  • Work on various patient population floors and conduct nutrition assessments and provide diet education as needed, critical care experience required.

  • Experience in ICU setting (CNSC Preferred).

  • Have strong focus on driving outstanding patient satisfaction results and driving process improvement activities.

  • Have strong communication skills and have the ability to work closely in multidisciplinary team setting.

  • Assist Clinical Nutrition Manager in additional projects and assignments as needed.

  • Be willing to work some weekends and holidays as needed.

Position Summary

Provides comprehensive nutrition assessments and care planning for patients/residents. Plans special diets and supervises their preparation. Instructs patients/residents and/or hospital personnel in principles of nutrition and modifications of normal diet. Performs routine care responsibilities without training and direction.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree

Basic Functional Experience - 1 year work experience in health care including hospitals, nursing homes, assisted or independent living facilities, long-term care, retirement homes, or clinics + registered dietitian.
