The Haverford School is located in Haverford, Pennsylvania. We offer innovative menu selections and quality service in one multi-platform dining hall, one retail venue with popular spirit wear brands and quick bites, athletic concessions and a high-end campus and community catering program. The Haverford School has been a leader in boy’s education since 1884. It is a beautiful campus just west of Philadelphia in the heart of the Mainline. We are seeking a Retail and Café manager with exceptional retail and merchandising skills. The position will purchase and work with all departments for spirit wear, uniforms and athletic gear as well as manage a spirit wear/café shop and concessions. Solid communication skills are required. Manager will also manage e-commerce and our on-line store. Prior Point of Sale experience is a must. Daily routines include cashiering, inventory, ordering, managing, sales, customer service and some food preparation. Candidate should be familiar with food safety and physical safety practices, retail market trends and retail management. We are looking for a dependable manager, a solid decision maker, a flexible innovator and one that is result focused. Position Summary: Maintains food quality and customer service in a cash handling retail food operation that includes branded concepts, in-house formats and signature designs. May assume GM's responsibilities and authority in his/her absence. Assists in maintenance of cash control and payroll records. Assists in supporting the financial/HR functions. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations. Qualifications & Requirements: Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED Sodexo will require a background check and may require a drug screen for this position.
