Sodexo is seeking a General Manager 2 for Food Services at Coastal Carolina Hospital. This hospital is located in Hardeeville, SC justmunites from the the beautiful island of Hilton Head. ,

The Food Service General Manager will have direct client, and executive level communication and day to day operational responsibility for this medical and surgical hospital with a P&L contract.

General Manager Responsibilities include:

  • Management of 15 employees and around $1 million in managed volume on an annual basis

  • Drives success of the retail food service through analysis of sales volumes and trends, food costs, labor costs, food quality, and level of service.

  • Implements Sodexo systems and programs, and oversees training of staff.

  • Continuously evaluates service to ensure patient and client satisfaction.

  • Provides catering with a focus on excellent attention to detail, follow through and outstanding customer service.

  • Drives employee engagement and patient satisfaction through strong leadership skills.

  • Demonstrates a detailed understanding of account financial operations at all times.

  • Integrate fully within our client's organization and is a trusted advisor with a customer service focus.

  • Works to achieve company and client financial targets and goals

  • Responsible for accurate and timely Sodexo and client reporting.

  • Ensures compliance to food safety, sanitation, and overall workplace safety standards.

  • Must meets (or exceed) Sodexo standards of operations.

  • Creates a positive environment and successfully motivates and manages team.

Position Summary

Manages all contract management service operations at a single account/unit. Plans and supervises special functions. Maintains cash control and payroll records. Hires and trains unit personnel. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations. Senior-most person assigned to a one client account

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree

Basic Management Experience - 2 years

Basic Functional Experience - 2 years
