Sodexo has an outstanding opportunity for a Registered Dietitian to join team as a Clinical Nutrition Manager at a small regional medical center located in Frisco, Colorado. St. Anthony Summit Medical Center is a Level III Trauma Center serviced by Flight For LifeĀ® Colorado and nationally recognized for excellence in patient satisfaction. Providing a full range of medical specialties and health care services to Summit County and the surrounding areas including Surgical, Emergency, Critical Care, Birth Center, Orthopedic, Breast Care, Digital Mammography, Breast MRI, Radiology & Imaging, Nuclear Medicine, Cardiology, Summit Sleep Disorders Center, Ear Nose and Throat (ENT), Gastroenterology and Summit Spine Services.

Reporting to the General Manager, the ideal candidate will:

  • Be a Registered Dietitian with at least 1 year lead or management experience and will be responsible for day to day oversight of the clinical nutrition department.

  • Have prior experience with the Nutrition Care Process and Electronic Medical Records charting

  • Serve in a leadership role on the Food and Nutrition Services team and provide clinical care to the patient population

  • Have a proven track record for success in building relationships with the nursing team as well as improving patient satisfaction and be responsible for fostering successful patient care programs

  • Have demonstrated skills to monitor and evaluate the nutrition care services; accreditation and regulatory readiness and review; and establishing and maintaining standards of care

  • Maintain a highly visible role with client interaction, representing the department on hospital-wide medical staff committees

  • Be an outstanding team player with excellent communication and customer service skill

Position Summary

Typically manages a small, one registered dietitian account. Has mostly direct patient care responsibilities. May have patient food service responsibilities. Responsible for meeting JCAHO/state/federal and company standards. This position is the primary liaison with the medical and nursing staff.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree

Basic Functional Experience - 1 year work experience in health care including hospitals, nursing homes, assisted or independent living facilities, long-term care, retirement homes, or clinics + Meets eligibility requirements for certification as a Registered Dietitian.
