Sodexo Universities business segment is seeking an experienced General Manager 4 for a NEW SALE at Kentucky State University located in Frankfort, KY ! The GM 4 will oversee an Executive Chef as well as front line employees, and will ensure exceptional services are provided for resident dining, retail and catering operations on campus. This role will have full financial responsibility at the account. The GM 4 will build and maintain successful relationships with multiple client partners, requiring this role to be visible and hands-on with all unit operations.

Ideal candidate will have:

  • College/University high-volume General Manager experience;

  • Strong client relations skills;

  • The ability to manage through managers and develop diverse and talented teams;

  • Strong financial acumen, P&L, experience writing and managing budgets;

  • High end, high touch point catering;

  • Innovation and the ability to grow revenue and manage costs;

  • Customer-driven and strong track record in organizational development.

Position Summary

Directs all contract management service operations at a single account/unit. Plans and supervises special functions. Maintains cash control and payroll records. Hires and trains unit personnel. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations. Manages through managers and is accountable for the contract. Senior-most person assigned to a one client account.

Provides local leadership and strategic direction while developing team for new and emerging business solutions that sustain growth in the day to day operations.

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree
