Sodexo is looking to hire an exceptional District Manager – Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) to manage accounts for our Sodexo Corporate Services division. This will be covering multiple Facilities and Food accounts in the North East. The district spans upstate NY, MA, CT, NJ and PA. Additional territories may be included based on the account needs.
The candidate will be required to have an excellent background of managing facilities and projects related to facilities management. Experience with mechanical, electrical, engineering, technology and plumbing systems is required to be successful in this position. The position will require the candidate to have extensive management experience and the ability to develop and build new and existing accounts. The district also includes locations with dining offering.
The District Manager will represent Sodexo at multiple accounts and will need to have excellent communication and customer service skills with a strong work ethic and experience building efficient teams. Leadership skills are a MUST as well as excellent financial management skills such as budget and financial contract management experience, and, are requirement to succeed in this position. The candidate who will be successful will be able to engage our clients and grow business in the respective territories. A food services background and/or working in the education market with facilities are a plus!
Manage multiple accounts for multiple clients in the North East
Support the Sales team for cross-sales
Manage a P&L
Oversee the hard FM such as mechanical, electrical, HVAC
Manage the operations including the soft services and some sites that include glass-washing, janitorial, warehousing, mail and other related services
Coordinate through clients/Directors and overall team for running a solid FM operation
Candidate would be required to reside in the North East area. This position does require up to 80% travel#LI
Serves as the primary representative of Sodexo for multiple accounts in a designated geographic area. Responsible for successfully coordinating and directing all activities within the assigned geographic area through subordinate managers, supervisors and employees including financial performance, client retention, and employee training and development. Works with each client and the Vice President in all matters relating to contract and account operations in order to establish and maintain a solid and mutually beneficial business relationship that ensures account retention. Develops a business plan and budget for the accounts with the General Manager's.

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree
Basic Management Experience - 5 years
Basic Functional Experience - 5 years
