Sodexo Operations LLC Food Service Manager 3 in FLAGSTAFF, Arizona
Sodexo is seeking an experienced, motivated Food Services Manager 3 for Northern Arizona University, located in beautiful Flagstaff, AZ, 2 hours north of Phoenix and 4 hours south of Las Vegas, NV. NAU is a premier campus account. Sodexo operates a full portfolio of services including resident dining, national brands, signature brands, in house brands, catering, summer conference, concessions and a full service restaurant.
The successful Food Service Manager 3 candidate will oversee 2 very active fully licensed Starbucks, with over $3M in sales volume. The campus leadership team is dedicated and engaged to ensure that we succeed as a team. This is a fast paced, exciting place to work. This manager will bring a culture of customer service and be a driver of change. The successful candidate will supervise approximately 40 frontline staff members and several hourly supervisors and will insure that all brand standards are met as well as be responsible for inventory, scheduling, purchasing, hiring and the training of frontline and supervisory staff.
The ideal candidate will have:
2-3 years supervisory or management background with a corporate or licensed Starbucks brand retail and ability to maintain brand standards – ensuring consistency and quality.
A demonstrated track record of a positive customer service culture and ability to train and motivate staff.
Experience using food management systems for ordering and inventory, use payroll systems to track labor, use POS systems.
Northern Arizona University is located in the cool mountains of north central Arizona and has a four season climate. The location is 2 hours from Phoenix, 4 hours from Las Vegas and 7 hours from Southern California. NAU is a large, growing, primarily residential university, with a current population of 20,000 students.

Responsible for managing multi-functional food service areas in a single account/unit. May assume General Manager's (GM) responsibilities and authority in his/her absence. Assists in maintenance of cash control and payroll records. Assists in supporting the financial/Human Resources (HR) functions. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations.
Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED
Basic Management Experience - 1 year
Basic Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
