Sodexo is seeking an exceptional Catering Manager for Fairfield University located in Fairfield, CT !

The Catering Manager position works very closely with the Catering Director and Executive Chef to plan and carry out the event request of customers and clients. This is a highly visibly position and will interact with clients on a day to day basis. This position is responsible for weekly schedules and employee payroll.

Position Summary

Manages all catered events. Hires, schedules, and trains catering staff. Works with clients/customers to arrange and follow through on all catering details and to ensure all special requests are met. Directs setup for events. Responsible for pricing, billing and resolving customer complaints. Develops menu/costing.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED

Basic Management Experience - 1 year

Basic Functional Experience - 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
