Sodexo Operations LLC Executive Chef 2 in EDMOND, Oklahoma
Sodexo School Services is seeking an energetic Executive Chef to fill a key leadership roll in Central Oklahoma State. This roll will oversee culinary standards and day to day operations at 9 school sites.
The successful candidate will focus on the culinary aspects of our K-12 offering with emphasis on USDA nutrition regulations, National School Lunch Program (NSLP), Smart Snack Guidelines, product quality & presentation, food cost controls, inventory controls, and culinary staff training. Must have strong leadership, financial and team building skills. K-12 Schools experience is a plus!
This is a 52 week position with holidays off, rare evenings and/or weekends.

Provides culinary leadership within a medium sized unit including menu planning, program execution and staff management & training. Works directly with internal and external clients managing the catering process from beginning through execution.
Implements & coordinates the culinary function.
Directs & trains cooks & utility workers.
Ensures food preparation & production meets operational standards.
Manages catering & retail areas.
Customer & Client satisfaction.
Financial management to include food cost & labor management.
Manages food & physical safety programs.
Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree
Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
