What a way to start your career with one of the world's largest employers. Sodexo is seeking a Catering Manager for one of its high profile healthcare accounts in New Haven, CT. The Catering Manager at Yale New Haven Hospital will be working in a high volume, fast-paced environment. The catering department accounts for approximately 80K in revenue monthly. Events can include small drop offs to larger employee events. This role will need to have very good organizational skills and bring a creative flair to presentations.
Position Summary:
Manages all catered events. Hires, schedules, and trains catering staff. Works with clients/customers to arrange and follow through on all catering details and to ensure all special requests are met. Directs setup for events. Responsible for pricing, billing and resolving customer complaints. Develops menu/costing.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED
Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
Sodexo will require a background check and may require a drug screen for this position.
