Sodexo Healthcarehas an excellent opportunity for an experienced Clinical Nutrition Manager to join our team as a Senior Dietitian Manager, Operational Support in the Charlotte, NC area for the Carolinas HealthCare System. CHS includes 19 acute care facilities and four skilled nursing sites. This position requires travel throughout the Carolinas HealthCare System facilities, all located within 1 hour of downtown Charlotte.

The Senior Manager, Operational Support - Clinical will:

  • Be a Registered Dietitian/clinical nutrition manager with hospital experience.

  • Serve as the clinical liaison between Sodexo’s on-site operations team and the CHS clinical team.

  • Lead and Drive the Regulatory Compliance, Quality and Performance Improvement activities utilizing Sodexo processes, systems and tools.

  • Implement Sodexo standards and drive regulatory compliance

  • Serve in a leadership role on the Food and Nutrition Services team along with other manager’s reporting directly to the VPO/RVP.

  • Represent Sodexo with clients, participate in hospital organizational meetings

  • Train and develop other managers and hourly employees, drive Sodexo systems and standards

  • Support Carolinas Healthcare System with accreditation and regulatory readiness and review for acute care facilities

  • Build relationships with clients, internal and external managers

  • Serve in an operational, leadership role on Food and Nutrition Services team

  • Support the Room Service Programs and manage the related software program (Healthtouch)

  • Lead and drive Performance Improvement and Quality Management projects

  • Be self-directed, flexible, a team player with excellent time management, verbal, and written communication skills

  • Work closely with Regional Nutrition Manager & National Nutrition Director – Hospitals

Position Summary

Supports Operations through the successful dissemination of programs, processes, and products. Plays a key role in supporting start-ups, operations training, standards implementation and audits. Performs workload analysis for staffing purposes, retention efforts and develops / deploys new best practices. Provides input regarding opportunities for product / service or brand enhancements while test piloting products/programs, etc. Assists with modification of products / services to meet operational needs. Assists with Unit Operating System development and initial installation of new products, services and programs.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree

Basic Management Experience - 3 years

Basic Functional Experience – 3 years in operations, operations support, or a related field.
