Sodexo has an exciting Senior HR Data Specialist position now available with our HR Service Center in either our Allentown PA (preferred), Gaithersburg MD, or Buffalo NY offices.
The main responsibilities for this position include:
Facilitates training for other HR Data Specialists for the HR Service Center
Povices principle support for department sub functions such as ADP portal support, Social Security Number verification, etc.
High volume HR transaction processing including new hires, rehires, transfers, terminations, position changes, and other employee indicative data
Ensure integrity of employee data through review of data validation reports
Maintaining and supports the HR Department Table, Reports to Hierarchy, and New Unit Opening process
Serving as customer service support resource to managers and HR and provides procedural support for Employee and Manager Self Service
The preferred candidate will have the following background/skillset:
3 years of experience in data management, human resources administrative support with a broad understanding of HR programs and policies.
Knowledge of HRIS systems; experience with ADP Enterprise systems preferred
Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word) required
Excellent communication and customer service skills; Strong analytical skills and detail oriented
Overtime, evening, and some weekend availability required during high volume times. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills required
Processes employee information and transactions into the HR/Payroll system, including but not limited to new hires, rehires, transfers, and salary changes. Applies company policies, procedures, and processes to ensure integrity of HR table and employee indicative data. Reviews and analyzes employee data via data integrity audits. Manages multiple lines of communication from field (email, web, phone, and voicemail). Coordinates changes in HR procedures and forms. Administers the Social Security Number verification process, including resolution of discrepancies. Coordinates HR/Payroll New Unit Opening process and researches and validates employee Service Dates. Responsibilities include knowledge of phone system and Enterprise HR, and working knowledge of Payroll, Payroll Tax, eTime, EDW, and Benefits. Responsible for lead support on departmental sub-functions. Ability to review and research complex employee data needs. Supports training of new and less experienced staff. Assignment to one or more HR Service Center sub-functions, as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED
Basic Functional Experience – 3 years of experience in data management, human resources or related field
