The CMM shall be technically qualified in the
field of Healthcare Facilities Management and should have two (2) years’ experience in a business
occupancy medical facility operations and maintenance and minimum, five (5) years servicing
and/or renovating commercial buildings, including the supervision of a diversified work force
responsible for operations, maintenance and repair of commercial building infrastructure systems.
The CMM shall be familiar with the various codes and standards applicable to the O&M tasks
covered by the performance work statement, NFPA, EPA, and OSHA codes and standards and
TJC for clinics accreditations. An American Society for Healthcare Engineering (ASHE)
Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM) certification for the CMM is desirable. The CMM
and alternate shall be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
The Director of Facilities Operations is responsible for directing facilities maintenance operations of building(s) and property at a single unit. The Director of Facilities Operations manages the preventative maintenance and reactive repair of skilled trades, e.g., HVAC, plumbing, electrical, utilities; and manages the hiring, training and supervision of staff, professionals and management. The Director of Facilities Operations manages a safe and efficient working environment, essential to the performance of the business. The Director may oversee construction work and often manages other core Sodexo services, and/or logistics of business/operations services, e.g., grounds keeping, laundry, food, security, inventory, mail, concierge services.
