Unit Description

The O&M supervisor shall have five years’ experience in hospital operations and maintenance, five years’ experience in supervision, and a minimum experience of two trades. The individual shall hold a current certification as an American Society for Healthcare Engineering (ASHE) Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM) or have a CHFM with six months of award and shall have formal training related to the Joint Commission (Environment of Care /Life Safety Code standards). The supervisor shall be

able to direct, monitor, and oversee contractor staff necessary to execute all scheduled maintenance requirements described in this PWS and unscheduled maintenance events IAW established regulatory requirements

Position Summary

The Director of Facilities Operations is responsible for directing facilities maintenance operations of building(s) and property at a single unit. The Director of Facilities Operations manages the preventative maintenance and reactive repair of skilled trades, e.g., HVAC, plumbing, electrical, utilities; and manages the hiring, training and supervision of staff, professionals and management. The Director of Facilities Operations manages a safe and efficient working environment, essential to the performance of the business. The Director may oversee minor construction work and manage other core Sodexo services, and or logistics of business/operations services, e.g., grounds keeping, laundry, food, security, inventory, mail, and concierge services.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement- Associate’s degree

Basic Management experience- 2 years

Basic Functional experience- 2 years
