Unit Description

AV/IT functions:

  • Provide IT consumables (i.e. mice, batteries) to end users and maintain local stock

  • Provide replacement workstations (i.e. laptops, desktops) to end users and maintain a local stock

  • Maintain local monitors, docking stations, etc. that require touch labor

  • Provide escort to any touch labor we need to send to the local office

  • Maintain Level 1 IT and AV support for the office which includes but not limited to desktop systems, video conferencing, telephony, in-office screens/projectors/SmartBoards

  • Support for staff moves

  • Onsite POC for service providers for Network support group

  • Maintain and assist in connecting users via video conference unit in the local office for escalations

Office Functions:

  • Coordinate and execute customer requests

  • Practices engineering specifications, standards, and processes throughout the firm. If necessary, performs operational QA

  • Assist in implementing preventive maintenance processes

  • Participate in establishing and maintaining building security, evacuation procedures, and periodic drills

  • Track and document expenses and facility repairs and improvements

  • Ensures execution of food service, mailrooms, and office supply standards and procedures

Position Summary

Manages the provision of audio/visual services for client facility, including scheduling equipment maintenance, upgrading and renting equipment. May be responsible for phone system. Sets up/installs computers with assistance from on-site conference center support staff.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED

Basic Functional Experience - 1 year of work experience in AV industry or related field
